The idea for this new direction came directly from the people who support our business.
Over and over, friends, family members, and customers asked for personalized items beyond wedding goods. They would see something beautiful and say, “This is nice, but I don’t really need wedding items.”
That became the number one request we received.
Over the last several months, we have fulfilled more orders beyond wedding products, and the response made something clear: people want the same heartfelt, polished personalization for birthdays, homes, babies, teachers, businesses, and everyday gifting that they have come to expect from our wedding collection.

Wedding products remain an important part of The Heartcrafted Shop. We continue to create engraved bridesmaid proposal boxes, groomsman gifts, custom jewelry, mirror acrylic arch and square signs, wedding party keepsakes, and other signature details for couples and their celebrations.
Our wedding collection is not going away. Instead, it now sits within a wider personalization studio: one that can support customers before the wedding, during the celebration, and throughout the many chapters that follow.
Growing Through an Unexpected New Chapter
This expansion has happened during a particularly full season of life.
When Painted Tree closed, leaving our first physical location was extremely difficult. That space had been convenient for customers, especially as a pickup location, and losing it meant losing more than a booth. It was the first physical home for The Heartcrafted Shop.
At the time, I had an eight-week-old baby and was dealing with postpartum recovery and complications from pregnancy, including preeclampsia. I was not physically able to retrieve everything from the booth myself. My husband stepped in and did an amazing job getting our fixtures and inventory out, but we still lost a lot.
It was a painful and uncertain experience.
It also taught me how to pivot and get creative.
After waiting and carefully considering our options, we found a new physical home within The Collective Boutique Cinco Ranch. I was conservative when first stocking the new booth because I wanted to be responsible while managing inventory online, in-store, and at markets: all while continuing to fulfill custom orders.
The process has been busy and, at times, insane. Raising a two-year-old and a six-month-old while rebuilding a retail presence is not simple. But it has been worth it.
I love seeing familiar Painted Tree faces alongside the new vendors at The Collective Boutique. The new owners have given me hope, and the space has energized me to move forward into this next chapter.

At our new boutique space, customers can browse premade items, pick up existing orders, and see examples of the work we create. In the coming weeks, we will also begin adding more special-request items to the booth.
